Large amounts of text can be shared without any difficulties, by uploading the files, but it would be much easier for the reader if you posted the text as an ebook on a webpage. eTextWizard can help you transform text files to an ebook, in HTML, CHM, HLP or other formats. It provides various tools for preparing your files for a conversion process and performing other operations.

A fully functional trial version is available, which you can use without any restrictions, until it expires. The software can be used on modern operating systems, like Windows 7 or Vista, as well as any older version, down to Windows 95. It comes in a small package and its components can be installed in a few moments, without any effort.

eTextWizard provides a tabbed interface, on which you may convert your text files, preview their contents, manage or rename your files, decompile CHM files and more. Making a few selections on the Converter tab is sufficient to generate an ebook, in the aforementioned formats.

You can explore your local folders and apply extension filters, to find specific file types. A conversion type can be selected on the same tab. eTextWizard is capable of converting VB and TXT files to HTM, TXT to HTM and so on. Different extension filters are applied automatically, depending on the selected conversion type. Additionally, different conversion options are made available for each conversion type. When everything is in order, you can hit the Start button to start converting. The program will process all files of the same type, from the selected folder.

The software places other features at your disposal, besides the possibility of converting files. Its renaming feature is not limited to text files. You can also rename images, audio files, documents and others. You may choose to add a prefix, suffix or both. Additionally, you can select and apply a different file name format.

It is also possible to create file indexes, in TXT or HTM format or as an HTML table. The procedure can be prepared like a conversion task, but it involves less configurations and you can include any kind of file.
